Love is only a fire to be transmitted; fire is only a love to be surprised.
— Gaston Bachelard
Hi,
Small leaves, rather than large, Lot maples have their colors in common with those of Canada!!!
Unable, like their New World counterparts, to play on density to communicate their full fire to us, they become creative in making us admire their reds, yellows and oranges. For some, they have the trick of standing out against a background of a cliff or gray dry stone and the contrast obtained is of the greatest effect.
Nature is full of strategies to surprise us and make itself loved 🙂
Good week to all,
Yours truly,
Anne Turlais
